This article explains how to log in to the WellPD App.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- A compatible smartphone
- Your WellPD wearable
- An active Internet connection
Step-by-step instructions
- Download the WellPD App on your smartphone (Android, iOS).

Open the app and complete the compatibility check.
The app checks whether your phone meets the technical requirements. If your device is compatible, you will see a message on screen and can continue to the next steps.
- Enter your date of birth when prompted.

On the next screen, you will see three consent statements:
- The first two statements are optional, but recommended.
- The third statement is required. You must select it to continue.
You can:
- Tap Accept all and continue to accept all three statements.

Select your preferred options and tap Confirm my selection.

Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your WellPD wearable.
If you encounter any errors, check that the date of birth you entered is correct. If it is correct and you still cannot log in, contact your clinic or Empatica for assistance.

Allow notifications when asked, if you have not done so before.
Medication reminders and important messages are sent through the app.

Follow the instructions to wear the device correctly.
The app shows how to place the device on your wrist.
You are ready to use the app
Once setup is complete, the WellPD App is ready to use and monitoring will start.
